Case Study
Fibworx Building | Stairs & Railing Case
June 2023 – August 2023
– Case Description
This was a newly build single-family luxury house building, two stories. The overall building presents a strong modern style. In order to incorporate as many aesthetic features as possible without breaking the original layout, we proposed the combination of the mono-stinger floating stair and glass/cable railings for our client. The entire construction lasted about three months and the City final inspection passed smoothly as well. Although the client changed the treads color and textures during the work, we still met our client’s expectation finally without any delay and unnecessary loss.

Work Scope
Gauge and measure the site(e.g. run, rise, quantity and so on).
Design the stairs and railings layout and create the 3D model.
Do the engineering calculation to ensure safety.
Assembly and installation the products on site.
Finish up with deep cleaning and protection.
The railing system complements the stairs beautifully. I opted for a sleek, metal railing with glass panels, and it adds a sense of elegance while ensuring safety. The transparency of the glass enhances the floating effect of the stairs without obstructing the view or natural light.
The installation team was professional, efficient, and very attentive to detail. They ensured the stairs were both structurally sound and aesthetically flawless, taking the time to explain the process and answer all my questions.
